Foreigners applying for a family residence permit are not required to own or rent a house on their name.
A residence permit only entitles a foreigner to live in the TRNC. It does not entitle one to work or set up a business.
A Permanent Residence Permit gives a Foreigner the right to reside in the TRNC permanently, and enter and exit the TRNC freely.
